The province afforested more than 2.6 million hectares of land from 2016 to 2020, raising its forest coverage from 31 percent to 35 percent, the report added.

During the period, the province also saw the number of national-level high-tech enterprises increase nearly five-fold from 1,628 to 9,400.

In the first ten days of February 2021, key iron and steel enterprises produced 21.5443 million tons of crude steel.
