Australian Mn46 lumps kept fluctuating at RMB24.5-25.5/mtu at ports in China. As for Mn48 sand ore, the price dipped to RMB23-24/mtu in China. South African Mn38 lumps kept falling to RMB20.5-21.5/mtu while RMB22.5-23/mtu for Mn32%Fe20%. Meanwhile, Gabonese Mn 44lumps fixed at RMB21.5-22.5/mtu at ports. Brazilian Mn 44% lumps put steady at RMB 20.5-21.5/ mtu in China. Malaysian lump ore Mn>30% dipped to RMB19-20/mtu.

As for future quotation of oversea miners, it is said that South Africa manganese ore miner UMK already unveiled November shipment to China. Price of Mn37.5 was lowered to USD2.6/mtu from USD2.65/mtu. In fact, take South African manganese ore for instance, future quotation to China slightly dropped by USD0.1/mtu during June to November, but in the meantime, ore spot price in China edged down by more than RMB1/mtu. What’s more, frequently exchanged rates also aggravated risk of imports for ore traders, leading them to reduce imports when suffered loss. Under such affect, sale pressure for global ore miners would be also on the rise which may force them to push down the price later.
