US Magnesium LLC is considering a new appeal of a 2011 decision revoking anti-dumping duties on magnesium imports from Russia.
Five years later, the ITC maintained duties on China but revoked the duties on Russian metal, stating that the Russian shipments no longer harmed the US industry. US Magnesium appealed the four-to-one decision, but this month the U.S. Court of International Trade rejected the appeal.
The Salt Lake City-based producer is now evaluating what to do next, said Cam Tissington, U.S. Magnesium's vice president of sales.
