Korea Imports of CR Stainless Steel Products hit 2 Year High

[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to data released by the Korean Iron and Steel Association Korea imported around 18,070 ton of cold rolled stainless steel products in February, rising by 3.7% from a month ago and jumping by 50.1% YoY hitting the 2 year high.
 
Among them, 506 ton were CR stainless steel sheets, falling by 60.5%; 16,511 ton were CR stainless steel wide strips, rising by 15.5% and 1,053 ton were CR stainless steel narrow strips, decreasing by 43.3%, all compared to those in a month ago.
 
Meanwhile, the country’s import prices of CR stainless steel products averaged at USD 3,520 per ton in February, soaring by 30.7% MoM.
