[Ferro-Alloys.com] Chinese Calcium Carbide market generally flats recently with few materials shipments in most regions. The ex-work prices including tax were at RMB2650-2850/mt in northwest China and RMB2900-3000/mt in east China.

Due to the weak demands from Chinese domestic PVC companies, there were too much stockpiles in the calcium carbide plants, some producers said to us. Just for the overplus in supply, the prices in some regions slightly fell down despite of rare transactions. Some producers are intending to cut production ratio in the future.
