“The commission has completed its enquiry and now the duties are likely to be announced soon or by September 2015 " , the source said.

The source further informed that the rates of anti-dumping duties will be different for the four major producers of ferroalloys---Tata steel, Rohit Ferro Tech, Modern and Indsil—and that the highest rate of duty that will be imposed on any of the four companies will be applicable to other ferro-alloys markets who have exported as well.

The EU had launched an anti-dumping investigation after a complaint had been lodged in November 2014 by the European Ferro Alloys producers body Euroalliages, which had claimed that EU producers were struggling with an increase in silico­ manganese imports from lndia at much lower prices over the past few years
